What it does

Here are the main features you can use.

Movements and transfers

Income, expenses and transfers between your own accounts. Balances are computed, never stored, so they cannot drift.

Budgets that warn you early

Monthly limits per category. A push notification at 80% and at 100%, and the dashboard flags what is heading over before the month ends.

What is coming, before it comes

How much is left to spend once the bills still to be paid are set aside, a warning when a fixed charge goes up or fails to show up, and where your balance is heading over the next 30 days.

AI

Scan a receipt

Take a photo and the form comes back filled in: merchant, amount, date and a guess at the category. You confirm. The photo is never stored.

AI

AI analysis

A model reads the totals of a month — spending by category, budgets, recurring charges — and writes back what stands out and what you could do to imporove. The data is sent anonymized.

Shared ledgers

Invite the person you live with and share accounts, categories and budgets. Each movement remembers who entered it.

Net worth, not just balances

A flat, a car, money you owe someone: track what you own and what you owe with dated valuations, and watch the whole picture over time next to your account balances.

Loans and mortgages

From the contract alone: payment, outstanding balance and the full schedule. Rate revisions, early repayments simulated before you commit, and a snowball or avalanche payoff plan.

Reports you can print

Any window of time, filtered by account, category or person, laid out for PDF export or printing.

Your files, both ways

Export everything you are looking at to Excel or CSV, edit it, import it back. And your bank statement goes straight in: drop in the OFX or QIF your bank already lets you download and the movements land in the account you choose, with the repeated ones left out.

Installable on your phone

Add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app, with shortcuts for a new movement and for the ticket scanner.

English and Spanish

The whole interface, the default categories, the files you export and the notifications. Switch whenever you like.

The features using AI are the only ones that send anything outside. Usage is always optional.

About the beta

WalletNook is in open beta: everything you have just seen is already available, and will continue to grow in the future.

Free

Everything you can see today is free, without ads or the need for a credit card. When the beta ends, managingnpm your accounts, budgets and reports will stay free. The more advanced features, like receipt reading or AI analysis may move to a paid plan.

There will be rough edges

You can leave the app at any time and export all your accounts with a single click.

Your data is yours

You can leave the app at any time and export all your accounts with a single click.

Frequently asked questions

Does it connect to my bank?
No, and it never asks for banking credentials. Movements are entered by hand, read off a receipt photo, or imported from a file — a CSV or Excel of your own, or the statement your bank already lets you download (OFX and QIF, which is what almost every Spanish bank exports). Importing only ever adds: a movement already there is skipped, so the same file twice is harmless.
Is it free? Will it start charging?
It is free today, with no card and no ads, and the everyday app — accounts, movements, budgets, reports, sharing a ledger — is meant to stay that way. What may eventually need a paid plan are the extras with a real per-use cost behind them: the two AI features, reading a receipt and analysing data.
What do you do with my data?
Nothing. It is not sold, shared or profiled. The exceptions worth knowing are the two AI features, and only when you use them: scanning a receipt sends the photo to Google's model, and the monthly analysis sends anonymized data. Both are optional.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from your account settings, and it takes everything with it. Download your export first if you want to keep your data.
